Book summary:
My cock has an appetite.

A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar...(Although, that's a story for another day.)

As a high profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.

My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.

At least it was , until "Alyssa"...

She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.

But then she came into my firm for an interview--a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed...

Book 1 in a three part Erotic Romance Serial.

My review:
This book has been popping up in my news feed a lot lately, so I had to see what it was about. And what did I see on the book page? Words: My cock has an appetite staring at me from the blurb. It was then that I thought: nuff said, I have to read this! Excellent decision, indeed.

I actually read the blurb in its entirety just now, and I'm inclined to say that I'm glad I didn't read it sooner, because this way everything, well, everything except Andrew's cock's appetite was a new revelation.

Now, Andrew is an interesting character that very much appeals to me. So much is still unknown about him, which I cannot wait to find out, but what we do know is that he is successful, hot, a dirty talker, that he hates liars with all his might, and that he has a very simple rule of dating: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

Yeah, but nothing is ever that simple. It seems that the prediction/warning of one of his no-repeats is about to come true when he develops an unusual friendship with Alyssa.

Before I go further into the Alyssa part, I have to say that I was very surprised by the way Andrew used to meet women. I am very curious to learn why he did it like that.

Alyssa?

"I had no idea what the fuck just happened, and only a part of me liked it. The other half loved it."

Alyssa, or "Alyssa", really got to our dear Andrew, which proved to be a very entertaining read. Their conversations, whether they were by phone or via texts or e-mails had me grinning and chuckling a lot. And when the original ego of "Alyssa" entered Andrew's life, the real fun began, spiced with a few scorching hot scenes.

While I did prefer Andrew's POV, it was nice to have a few parts written from Alyssa's POV, too. It helped clear a few things up. To us, if not Andrew.

In the end, a cliffhanger. Major cliffhanger. Reminded me a lot of the season 1 finale of Grey's Anatomy.

What more can I say, except I can't wait for the sequel. Need more Andrew. STAT!

One more thing: go read this book. ;)

  1. I've read this series and LOVE the strong/no holds bar female character. She has a spine and a witty mouth. I read a lot (2-3 books a week) and I'm having difficulty finding another book with a strong female character. Can you suggest some?
The "woe is me...does he or doesn't he like me...I like you but I'm afraid to show it" just isn't my style. Where is another "Aubrey"?
