Kate and the former Beast Lord Curran Lennart are finally making their relationship official. But there are some steep obstacles standing in the way of their walk to the altar…

Kate’s father, Roland, has kidnapped the demigod Saiman and is slowly bleeding him dry in his never-ending bid for power. A Witch Oracle has predicted that if Kate marries the man she loves, Atlanta will burn and she will lose him forever. And the only person Kate can ask for help is long dead.

The odds are impossible. The future is grim. But Kate Daniels has never been one to play by the rules…

*** REVIEW ***

I've rated most of the new installments of my favorite series around 3 stars, but that's not the case with Magic Binds, the 9th installment of the Kate Daniels series written by the famous duo I. Andrews. This series is at book 9# and I don't know how they do it, but the story only gets better and better.

This series has everything I love about urban fantasy/paranormal genre:

- non-stop thrilling action

- intriguing paranormal/mythological characters

- sweet Curran ft. Kate moments

- creepy Roman ft. Kate bonding (issues)

- fun, strong & bad-ass female character

- super hot lion shifter for a male character

- awesome secondary characters

- awesome plot

- awesome ending

It's safe to say that the next installment is definitely included in my most expected reads of 2017 list. Highly recommended!

RATING: 5/5 stars
