"You say green and I'll give you more.
You say yellow and I'll pull back the pace.
You say red and I drop the whip and we play with a new toy.
Got it?"
"Yes, Mistress."
"Good. Also, if you want, you can say 'Ouch'.
And that won't stop anything at all."
At that she let the whip fly.

The Original Sinners Series are one of my favorite dark reads ever,  that's why I was excited to read this short story, but above all I wanted to read it, because I love (read= prefer) Nora as a bad-ass Dominatrix, because frankly she bores me as Søren's little, obedient submissive and this story gave me just what I wanted: Nora as a vicious Dominatrix in all her glory, plus additional bonus- one smoking hot ex Navy Seal sub at her mercy. Tiffany Reisz is one of rare authors whose books with  Bdsm romance I actually like, because she excels at writing them.
Two words: HOTNESS OVERLOAD!

The plot takes place three years before The Siren (Original Sinners, #1) when she was working for Kingsley at The 8th Circle as a Dominatrix.  The story was  as usual fun, sensual, provocative, dark & way-too-hot. Nora as a Dominatrix was effing awesome! I hope she never goes back to her old submissive ways. Yes, I said it, so flog me all you Søren's fans, I don't care!  The story's only flaw: It was only 30 pages long. I still don't see the point of cutting the novel in 30 pages long parts, well aside  the profit, but it is, how it is. All in all, Original Sinners fans will be very, very satisfied. Get it? Exactly ;).

"You are good, Mistress."
Lance turned back to face the wall.
"I've never been with a Domme who plays as hard as you."
"I appreciate that. I trained under the best sadist in the world."

XOXO

    1. Yes, you should read them. Can't wait to see what you think about them, because they are one of those reads that will your mouth open if you know what I mean, lol. Those were my first reads with bdsm romance in it and I was quite shocked by the story, but the author's writing style is brilliant.

If you are a fan of dark reads, I think you're gonna love them.

  2. OMG! I love this series too! I had no idea about this publication. I'm adding this right away to my TBR, I hope it gets publish on audio soon. I just read a review of The Priest, and it sounds wonderful...If you can even use that word to describe her novels..LOL I know they are some of my most engrossing listens and reads tho.

    1. My friends got arcs of Saint they loved it too. :) I was afraid to read it because I thought it will be about the time Nora was Soren's submissive, so I thought that I might not like it, but they say it follows the events when them two met when she was 15 and then til' she turned 20.

Oh yes, this author and her novels are really special. Glad you like them too :).
My favorite character is Kingsley <3

  3. I meant to say The Saint. I have on my head that The Priest was the next book out.

  4. Unfortunately, I'm one of the few who barely got through The Original Sinners series. I think I'm not meant for BDSM erotica, and this is the stuff that Reisz does well.

I hope this serial novels continue to amaze you. ;)

    1. I understand what you mean. This story is definitely not for everyone. When I first read The Siren I was shocked and kind of repulsed, it was one of my first bdsm reads so imagine my surprise. I couldn't understand how can someone enjoy getting beaten up xD I thought it was abuse for sure, but at the same time the writing style of the author was so powerful and amazing and no matter how much the story shocked me and still is even today I end up loving it.

Btw. I'm also not exactly a fan of bdsm romance in general, but this is one of the rare books I like. I know, weird.

      Thanks :)

  5. I've never been able to pick up this series. It scares me, lol! I know there is a huge fan base and I've seen novellas for this series around on Goodreads lately. Nice that you got a little more from a series you love, Purple. Nora sounds pretty brutal! :) Wonderful review!

Oh Nora is the type of female character you never read before for sure. One of those femme fatale. Everybody wants her.

    1. If you are fan of dark reads you should definitely read them Angela. I promise this won't be like anything you read before, but I recommend to start with The Siren (Original Sinners, #1), because this here is like a prequel to that book.

      Thanks for stopping by :)
