MM Erotic Romance

Summary on Goodreads:

Try – verb: to make an attempt or effort to do something or in this case…someone.

Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed—after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto—if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try?

And he wants to try Tate Morrison.

Just coming out of a four-year marriage with an ex-wife from hell, a relationship is the last thing on Tate’s mind. He’s starting fresh and trying to get back on his feet with a new job at an upscale bar in downtown Chicago.

The only problem is, Tate has caught the unwavering and unwelcome attention of Mr. Logan Mitchell – a regular at the bar and a man who always gets what he wants.

Night after night Tate fends off the persistent advances of the undeniably charismatic man, but after an explosive moment in the bar, all bets are off as he finds his body stirring with a different desire than his mind.

As arrogance, stubbornness and sexual tension sizzles between the two, it threatens to change the very course of their lives.

Logan doesn’t do relationships. Tate doesn’t do men. But what would happen if they both just gave in and…tried?

RATING:

***REVIEW***

"You know what you want to do," Logan encouraged in a seductive tone, thinking he must be losing his mind to be making such a bold move, even for him. "There's no one here, and no one is going to come in. Just do it," he whispered, eyes locked on to conflicted brown orbs, "Try."

Elle Frank is one of the authors whose book I've been planning to read for a long time. I decided to speed up the process when I saw that she wrote an MM book about which people couldn't stop raving about, plus it was labeled as "Gay-For-You" which together with "Military" is my favorite type of mm books. It's not my fault, it's just that my dirty mind thinks that there's just something inexplicably sexy when a gay guy or in this case a bisexual tries to seduce a supposed straight one, so resistance was futile ;D. Especially, when the guy in question is Logan Mitchell- one hot as hell/ sex in suite, provocative bad boy with a master degree in dirty talking. Enter him in the story and I was irrevocably hooked. Damn, that naughty boy is in need of some serious spanking! The things that came out of his mouth...Let's just say that I could totally understand why he made even a straight guy like Tate curious.

Tate was exactly opposite from Logan (or is he really?) Sweet, kind, one of the good guys who just ended a bad marriage. Never did he think that the next time he falls for someone, it will be a guy, but he never met Logan Mitchell until then. Logan provokes him, challenges him, makes him question all he thought he knew about himself, but Tate wants more than a simple hook-up if he's going to put it all on stake for him, and the question is can a player like Logan do the same?
"Everyone in that bar watched you, all of them. You might as well take off your shirt with the way it's sticking to you. Christ."
Tate nuzzled his lips under Logan's ear where he gnawed gently with his teeth. "And this," he explained, copping a quick feel between Logan's legs,"I want this."
"Then, fucking take it," Logan goaded.

The book was sensual, intense & erotic. It wasn't perfect. I agree with others- the author should have worked more on their relationship outside the bedroom and maybe keep it down a bit with all the possessiveness and jealousy which will probably bother some of the hardcore mm fans, but while that might have bothered me in other similar books, it didn't exactly bother me in this one, because they did have a few more romantic moments too. I guess, it depends on your preferences like usual. I loved the characters and the scorching chemistry between them and those are the biggest reasons why I liked this book and will definitely be  reading the sequel. Yes, there will be a sequel, but the book didn't end up with a cliffhanger which will make the waiting easier. I would highly recommend it to all MM fans who want a fun, sexy & drama free read! I dare you  to T.R.Y.!

"You've changed me, and you don't even realize it. Just being with you, near you? It makes me want to be a better person. You make me want to take a risk." Tate touched one of his fingertips to his lower lip.
"What do you want to risk?"
"Everything."
