I liked Blay but meh on the rest so lost interest once their books and storylines started to hit. Ah well. A lot of those issues were ones I'd started to have with the series too :/Anna (herding cats-burning soup)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17422129120413380189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728329635308512703.post-52476999191328934512015-04-22T12:41:23.907+02:002015-04-22T12:41:23.907+02:00Thanks, Loupe! :) I'm glad you're still en...Thanks, Loupe! :) I'm glad you're still enjoying it. I know many people still are. Agree about the paranormal genre. Most of the reviews I read so far about The Shadows weren't positive, so I'm not surprised. I'm still enjoying it, but actually, it has a lot to do with the narrator, I still enjoy his interpretation of the books be, although I have to say I'm not as excited as I used to be with the new releases, but I'm feeling this way about PNR in general and that's really a bummer :(<br />Great review, and I totally get why this didn't work for you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18209079709954835879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728329635308512703.post-79618290176706562582015-04-21T16:32:31.583+02:002015-04-21T16:32:31.583+02:00I feel the same way. I literally just finished The Shadows (as in like 30 minutes ago). I'm sorry to report, I felt the same way about it. Really liked parts of the story, but there is a huge lack of focus. Personally, I think it is time for the series to be wrapping up and coming to a graceful end. Sadly, I don't see that happening.Melanie (@AudiobookMel)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12682752959290631075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728329635308512703.post-38845952905842020862015-04-21T03:41:36.179+02:002015-04-21T03:41:36.179+02:00There are so many things going on and not one conc...There are so many things going on and not one concrete direction. I did like this one a bit more than you did, but in the end, I feel like the books are losing their original lustre. Joy https://www.blogger.com/profile/08176549392514186645noreply@blogger.com
